The Tie Tuesday Foundation is excited to welcome Dr. Renee' T. Watson as our new Vice President for Legislative Affairs and Resource Development!

With 15+ years in higher education, Dr. Watson brings a proven track record of strategic leadership, fiscal responsibility, and a commitment to equity and student success.

Some of her notable accomplishments include:

Addressing a $6M deficit, saving $475K through data-informed decisions
Securing $8M in COVID-19 relief to preserve jobs and student support services
Launching a $500K scholarship initiative to drive student engagement
Leading the development of an Esports program
Securing $500K+ in grants for unaccompanied homeless youth

We’re excited for the vision and expertise Dr. Watson brings to the Foundation as we continue to advance our mission of equity, empowerment, and excellence in education.

Spring into S.T.E.A.M.

The Tie Tuesday Foundation, in collaboration with Compudopt, Tea House Collective, and the Discover Shine Bright Community Center, presents Spring into S.T.E.A.M.. This FREE event will feature interactive, hands-on activities for children in grades K-8, focusing on topics like Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, 3D printing, Legos, and Coding. Breakfast and lunch will be PROVIDED.
